Ms. Farris James, Assets School College and Career Counselor will briefly share information and tips for successful transitions from high school to college with considerations for students with learning differences. Then, you will hear from two guest speakers from the University of Portland. First, Matt Deschner, the Associate Director of Admissions, will share about the college search, application, and selection process and how to consider various fit factors for your student. Next, Brenda Greiner, Director of the University of Portland Shepard Academic Resource Center, will share about how students can set themselves up for college success.
