HACAC Scholars Program



The mission of the HACAC Scholars Program is to provide professional development opportunities that support under-resourced and high-impact HACAC members who are helping to facilitate access to higher education for students in the state of Hawaii.

Funding for the HACAC Scholars Program is made available through support from the HACAC Professional Development Fund, the NACAC Imagine Grant, and various other organizations that support HACAC through generous grants and sponsorships.

HACAC is pleased to announce $2,000 scholarships to attend the Missouri ACAC Show-Me STEAM College Tour,               July 15-20,2018 in St. Louis, Missouri. The plan is to visit the following:

University of Missouri-Columbia

Washington University in St. Louis

Webster University

Through the joint support of the NACAC Imagine Grant and the HACAC Scholars Program, HACAC is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships to attend the 2018 NACAC Conference, September 27-29 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Each scholarship recipient will receive up to $2,000 to help cover registration, airfare, lodging and other costs associated with attending the conference. Priority will be given to public school counselors and counselors serving on the neighbor islands. You must be a current HACAC member to apply.

  • Boise State University
  • The College of Idaho
