DESCRIPTION:tudents and Families are welcome to join the College Fit and Persistence Workshop livestream hosted by Assets High School with special guests from the University of Portland!  \n\n\n\nThe College Fit and Persistence workshop will take place on Thursday\, March 9th: \n\n\n\nFinding the Right Fit College & Thriving There: \n\n\n\nAn Assets School College Planning Workshop with Special Guests from the University of Portland\, Matt Deschner and Brenda Greiner \n\n\n\nMarch 9\, 2023\, 5:45 – 7:15 PM  \n\n\n\nLink for Livestream (to go live March 9\, 2023 at 5:45 PM) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMs. Farris James\, Assets School College and Career Counselor will briefly share information and tips for successful transitions from high school to college with considerations for students with learning differences. Then\, you will hear from two guest speakers from the University of Portland. First\, Matt Deschner\, the Associate Director of Admissions\, will share about the college search\, application\, and selection process and how to consider various fit factors for your student.
